Sharing the gospel of Christ sometimes takes weeks, months and even years to build trust and open lines of communication with a lost brother or sister but there are times when you must seize the moment, plant the seed and leave the rest to God. Times like this usually come only once. I hope you would develop your Apologetics for what you believe in but witnessing isn’t about stating biblical facts; you only need to tell someone how Jesus has impacted your life.

Have you ever had one of those days that seem to last forever, kind of like that movie Groundhog Day?
This guy goes to this quaint little town in Middle America. He plans on leaving just as fast as he arrived but something strange happens. Every morning he wakes up and repeats the day in the same town and runs into the same people and environmental scenes.

At first it gets him really upset and he hurts all the people around or at least ignores them, after all he sees the same thing everyday why care? Well after probably months of this routine his eyes are opened and he sees that he can use this day to help people and that’s when he becomes the hero gets the girl and lives happily ever after.

I can remember a day that I wish could repeat. Someone asked me about my God and why he should believe in a God that loves to hurt people?

Well, I got the first part of the movie down pact. I bowed my head but not in Prayer; in shame and walked away. I don’t know if this man’s soul was ever planted with the word or if he died and went to hell. I just don’t know…I would gladly repeat my days to have another opportunity to share my savior with all the lost people I was to afraid to speak with.

I think a major reason we don’t share is because we don’t have enough in us to go around. We are satisfied with knowing just enough about our father to get us in the pearly gates and we become content with accepting the mundane.

Below is a brief little message for the unbeliever you can print (copy and paste into notepad) and carry with you or memorize (tough one for me) and carry in your heart. I can most assuredly promise you that someday whether you want it or not you will have an opportunity to share Christ because someone comes to you and asks. You won’t have a groundhog day like this again.

Little witness note
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Luke 13:3 “I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Prayer:
Dear Jesus,
I know that I have sinned. I believe that you died and rose for my sins to be washed away. I need you and want you to come into my life. Thank you Jesus for forgiving me and coming into my life forever. Please help me to learn more about you and live how you want me to.
Amen.

15. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
21. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5

I am speechless at the love our father has for us. He has always known that the very people that he created would crucify him both in body and in heart. He has always known the hearts of man…

We are a too busy for God kind of people. I am one of them. We need to work extra hours so we can make that payment, we need to figure a way to make more time after dropping the kids off, we need to run over here and over there, we need to research this for class…

We were made righteous by God himself coming to US right in the middle of all our hustle. When Jesus walked with us he was a perfect being without sin or stain. He chose to take all our sins at once and become sin.

Imagine that for a second. Jesus is hanging on the cross and cries out: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46 In one moment that we will never understand Jesus took in every single sin of the world into him. In that one moment he did not feel the presence of the God he had been with for all eternity…
Wow, what love he has for us!
That moment is a moment we need to remember every day.

Take it with you to work, school or Wal-Mart. Remember what he said. He died so that we no longer live for ourselves but for him. We have a memorial day, we have 911 and remember. Truthfully, we have nothing that he hasn’t given us. Let’s honor the father every day not just on Christmas, Easter…Sunday’s… The day and all that it contains belong to him. Just like our salvation, he gives us the day to do with it as we chose.

I ask you today not to touch a life, not to witness or spread the word. I ask you to remember him before your every thought that becomes an action. You won’t have to touch a life. Christ who is in you will take care of that. You all are already making such an impact on the lives around you. Praise God and glory to him forever!

All my love, Scott

I was at a drive thru the other day and the man in the box was very short with me. He sounded as if he was being forced at gun point to work behind that mike. To be honest, he acted no different at the window.

After being as polite as I could and waiting for my turn to speak so that I could tell him that Jesus Loves him (that really cheers me up, I thought it might work for him) he abruptly said ”pull up to the stop line and I will bring it out” and shut the those little glass windows really fast.

Well after about ten minutes or so, he brought out our food and tried to drop the bag and run. I said: “Hey man, Jesus loves you”. Well, he gave me a not so nice look and really took off without a word.

I felt worried afterwards that I would face rejection again if I tried to bring up Jesus to someone else. I wish I had verbal skills!

I post these messages and I have a secret. I am worried. I have never just came up and spoken to someone before. My insecurities tell me that someday someone that I don’t know will tell me: “Hey dork, stop spamming me”.

Now I know that I am with the best bunch of people and that you probably would not do that but still; I feel the insecurities of rejection. More than likely because of the rejection I have given. I think maybe all of us feel it at times.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7

This passage rings sweet melodies of calmness and love to me. God promises to guard our hearts AND our minds if we submit to Christ!

Now I won’t lie, I am still worried about what people will say but when that one single person tells me “Thank you, I needed that” WHOOO!!! The Lord Jesus my savior has just worked through me! The chase is on now! Try and stop me if you may Satan! God almighty promised me a victory.

I want ya’ll to know that I love you. If you run into someone and have the opportunity to SHARE our Lord and savior; try it! God promises to guard our hearts and minds. Sure, someone may reject you but just think; the seed has been planted and God promises to not let that seed go unattended. Someone will come to water it. A few minutes of embarrassment will pass but salvation is eternal.
