15. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
21. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5

I am speechless at the love our father has for us. He has always known that the very people that he created would crucify him both in body and in heart. He has always known the hearts of man…

We are a too busy for God kind of people. I am one of them. We need to work extra hours so we can make that payment, we need to figure a way to make more time after dropping the kids off, we need to run over here and over there, we need to research this for class…

We were made righteous by God himself coming to US right in the middle of all our hustle. When Jesus walked with us he was a perfect being without sin or stain. He chose to take all our sins at once and become sin.

Imagine that for a second. Jesus is hanging on the cross and cries out: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46 In one moment that we will never understand Jesus took in every single sin of the world into him. In that one moment he did not feel the presence of the God he had been with for all eternity…
Wow, what love he has for us!
That moment is a moment we need to remember every day.

Take it with you to work, school or Wal-Mart. Remember what he said. He died so that we no longer live for ourselves but for him. We have a memorial day, we have 911 and remember. Truthfully, we have nothing that he hasn’t given us. Let’s honor the father every day not just on Christmas, Easter…Sunday’s… The day and all that it contains belong to him. Just like our salvation, he gives us the day to do with it as we chose.

I ask you today not to touch a life, not to witness or spread the word. I ask you to remember him before your every thought that becomes an action. You won’t have to touch a life. Christ who is in you will take care of that. You all are already making such an impact on the lives around you. Praise God and glory to him forever!

All my love, Scott
